Centurion Knights is an Alliance guild on the Oceanic PvP server Frostmourne. We have been in existence for almost 4 years on this server and before that on the US Crushridge server. The guild leadership group is mature, stable and long term focused with most officers being in the guild from the beginning, along with a very sound and stable membership.

The guild was founded on the principle of a group of mature minded people enjoying the game together. Our aim is to continually progress through end game raiding content in a mature manner with regard to each others enjoyment. We are essentially an over 18s guild. However under 18 applications can be considered when a level of appropriate maturity can be demonstrated in the application and trial process.

General:

Our guild is structured around our charter and all decisions are based around the ethos spelled out within.

Respect for each other and the wider WoW community is paramount and we will not accept poor attitudes & behavior simply because someone performs well on meters. Meaning, a person could be the best raider in the world but if they treat others with disrespect then they have no place in our guild. This guild has existed for years with this basic outlook and we will not risk tainting our guild atmosphere or reputation just to squeeze out a few hundred extra DPS.

Raiding:

Our raiding focus is on serious progression, promarily 25 man raiding, however for the remainder of Cataclysm we will focus on 10 man raiding. As of (14/4/2012) we are 4/8 Hard modes in Dragon Soul. Not where we wanted to be but we are in the process of catching up. Our Guild Aim is to achieve End-Boss kills in a timely and professional fashion. Whilst we understand and respect that real life commitments are more important than WoW and strive to accommodate these in a reasonable manner, we intend to push to become one of the most respected progression guilds on our server. In Wrath we were ranked at approximately 15 – 18 in server progression, however so far in Cataclysm we have had a number of long - term Vanilla WoW players totally stop playing which has impacted on our progression dramatically. We realize that we “should” be further progressed by now and are working to “catch up.” However raiding in a fun and enjoyable environment is important to us and overall we have achieved that even in these difficult times

We run a raiding squad of approximately 33-35 players for our main 25 man raid. We rotate our raiders on farmed content to insure even our reserve raiders can participate (without them we would not be able to accommodate real-life issues as well as we do). However for progression content the best available raiding group will always be chosen.

Our raids will be run following our Golden Rule of “making sure a raider’s time is never wasted.” In the past we have raided 9 hours per week over 3 nights, far less time than guilds of a comparable progression level. People joining our guild should understand that we expect that raiders are properly prepared for end game content. This means that raiders are:

• Properly gemmed and enchanted with the best available enhancements, regardless of the level of their gear. (Cata epic gems are negotiable at this stage and guild bank assistance is available)

• Fully researched in their class mechanics and are specced with the most appropriate builds for raiding.

• Fully researched in all boss fights.

• Supplied with proper consumables etc.

• Are on time for invites to scheduled raids.

If any of this seems extreme then Centurion Knights is not for you. We intend to be successful in our goals and as such preparation is vital. Having said all of the above, we still respect that real life commitments come 1st and provided that raiders are available for the majority of our raid times, we are more than accepting of emergencies and seasonal issues of Uni exams and holidays etc.
